Woot Woot!

Even though we did not create a float this year we must have done something right with our walking entry. We earned 2nd place overall in the school division. The FFA entry took home the first place prize. Congratulations to Mr. McClelland and his group for creating a fantastic entry. A very fitting tribute to Mr. M. in his last year at RIHS.

Anyway, thanks again to our sponsors and all of our members that were able to help with our creation. Thanks again to Jared for coming up with the idea in the first place. Great job Art Club!

I love these guys!

Here is a test shot from our photo booth. Unfortunately,we were unable to use it during Smiles Day due to high winds. Maybe we can utilize it at a dance later in the year. It was fun to make none-the-less.

Homecoming week is fast approaching.

This year the Art Club will....big gasp here...not be creating a float for the Smiles Day Parade. BUT we will be creating a walking entry based on the idea of a Chinese dragon. With a focus on the theme of photography...well you will just have to wait and see.

We are also planning on creating a photo booth on the square during Fridays festivities as well. This will be one of our fundraisers for the year. So make plans to stop by and check it out.

We will be working on our parade entry in the Art Room this year starting this Sunday afternoon. The schedule this year is considerably different due to scheduling issues.

Work days are as follows:
Sunday, Sept. 19 - 2pm-5pm
Monday, Sept. 20 4pm-7pm
Tuesday, Sept. 21 no work day
Wednesday, Sept 22 5pm-8pm
