We will be working on our parade entry starting Monday, September16 in the Art Room.
Our work time will be from 5:30-8:30 pm
The plan is to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday is a possibility if needed.

Printmaking and Painting Blog Assignment - 1.7.2013
Printmaking - Research examples of etchings and engravings by Rembrandt van Rijn and Albrecht Durer.
Post three print examples from each artists to your blog. You need to include the following information for each example : title, year created, media and dimensions if possible (H x W x D)

Fundraiser Update
Our annual fundraiser raffle was a success and we were able to make about $1000. Our winner was a local business owner that was over joyed to have won.
Thank you to all that parted with some of your cash to support a wonderful and exciting opportunity for our young artists.

News and Updates
Well folks it has been a while since I updated the RIHS Art Club Blog. Anyway we have several items of note. First, Artist of the Month will be held on Thursday, December 14. Since the beginning of the school year there have been two students selected as Artist of the Month.
Drawing class students currently have drawings on display at Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
Our annual fundraiser raffle will begin shortly. From December 6 through December 20 Art Club members will be selling $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win a $500 gas card from Casey's Convenience Stores.
All money raised from the raffle will be used for our annual end of the year field trip. This year we are headed to Chicago to visit the Willis Tower, Museum of the Art Institute of Chicago and Museum of Contemporary Art.
We have added a few spring exhibition dates to our calendar. Please see the listing on the right hand side of the page.
Many new and exciting projects are in the works for the upcoming semester. I will do my best to keep to post more photos of student work.
